Hi Ajay,
i also have trouble with the size of the custom header. I have successfully changed it, so that the headlights disappeared but now i have added a page so that the pages in the top nav stand in two lines and the headlights have come back. I have tried annd fiddled but i can't change it.
Could you help? The URL: www.barrio-weine.de

Hi,

Please edit functions.php and change the line to:
Code: [Select]
define('HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT', 142);

Hi,

You'll need to play around with the width and height of the functions.php and your custom header in case this increases in height.

Thanks Ajay,
i have changed the height in the functions.php and the style.css, trying from100-400, but there is absolutely no change. I just don't know what to do? I would love to keep the Theme though.

One good option is to edit the original header image and create your own, then upload it and overwrite the original file

i have been having trouble with this too! im glad there is a forum topic related to it, because i have been doing everything i can to fix it for the past two weeks. no luck. if you delete the "train" image, it gets whacky. and if you change both the "train" and "top" images, the pictures still dont line up. the original train picture didnt line up with itself either. it needs to be over to the left and down a bit.

Ajay, is the "train" image just there so you can put a custom label of your blog and tagline on top of it, in wordpress? Because i do not want that anyway. is there a way to get rid of the train image all together, and also get rid of the text that is supposed to go on top of it (custom) ? Does this make sense?

Thanks so much. Excellent theme, besides my nit-pickyness!

Does this fix work?

You can replace the original train.jpg with an image of the same dimensions manually. Knocking off the text is by editing the header.php file

Hi,

Do you have the latest 3.x version of the theme? I've released that to fix all these issues.

The banner fix was a lot more painful that just editing a few lines. Alternatively, if you want to retain the old theme, grab hold of the style.css in the new theme package.
